I saw David post on Telegram that "chocolate still has extraordinary secrets" in reference to these freeze-dried cacao beans. And he was not kidding. I was amazed with the first bite. I initially tasted the bitter taste of cacao nibs, and then it was overtaken by the sweetness of the white pulp. The combination of the pure, bitter bean with the sweet outer covering tasted, strangely and briefly, of a very dark chocolate bar. I was smitten and couldn't stop eating them. About ten minutes later, I felt a blissful, slightly buzzed feeling. These beans are very special and I love treating myself to them a couple times per week. It feels especially good knowing that these beans come from David's pristine farm in Hawaii and are thus free of the lead contamination issues that plague most chocolate from the third world, including organic and fair trade varieties. Thank you for the out-of-this-world decadence!
These chocolate bars are delicious and are well worth the money. A Raw, Vegan, cruelty-free chocolate. I will order them again.

I like these. They are easy to eat and have a good texture. First time eating the white pulp with cacao beans. It is a good experience overall.
