This Simple Stretch Stops Knee Pain Fast!

There are times when being weak at the knees is totally okay. But unless you're being proposed to, or taking in the sweet smells of happiness as you prepare an awesome meal, you want your knees to be strong and supportive. Unfortunately, your knees are not always up to the task. If you suffer from chronic knee pain, you know exactly what I'm talking about. If that's you, you're far from alone. The CDC estimates that by age 85, half of all individuals will develop a chronic knee condition. If you suffer from obesity, the problem is even worse – 2 out of 3 obese people will develop a knee condition. And while it may seem like the only way to battle the pain of a knee condition is to pop painkillers like candy, you might be surprised to learn that there are simple exercises you can do at home.

Here are a few more techniques you can use to combat knee pain naturally.


Massage therapy can improve circulation, making it incredibly valuable to those suffering from knee pain made worse by sitting at a desk for hours at a time. For a simple self knee massage, rub some warm coconut oil (a natural anti-inflammatory substance) on your knees. Firmly massage your knees in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions for about 15 minutes. Repeat this throughout the day as needed.

Epsom Salt

That's where Epsom salt, which contains high amounts of magnesium, comes in. Dissolve 2 tablespoons of Epsom salt in half a cup of warm water. With a cloth, apply it to your knees and let it sit for about 20 minutes. Then, rinse it off with lukewarm water. You can also soak in a warm bath containing 1 cup of Epsom salt f0r full-body relief.
