5 Reasons You Should Stop Smoking Cannabis and Start Juicing it Instead

Juicing cannabis? Juicing hemp leaves? What is the point of that? What many people do not know is that cannabis has more uses than just to get someone high. Cannabis comes with a large list of health benefits that some people may want with or without the psychoactive effects.

Here are five reasons to start juicing instead of smoking!

1. Cannabis Leaf Juice Will Not Make You High (Or At Least Not As High as Smoking)

1280px-Cannabis_sativa_leaf_Dorsal_aspect_2012_01_23_0830 Wikimedia Juicing cannabis leaf in a morning smoothie will not make one high or at least not elevated in the sense of smoking cannabis flower buds. Instead, it provides all the benefits that come from raw cannabis consumption (chlorophyll, bone-building minerals, terpenes, fiber, CBD, and other cannabinoids) without a strong psychoactive effect. According to Leaf Science, “Since heat is required to convert the THCA in raw cannabis into THC, its psychoactive form, juicing provides a way of obtaining many of the benefits of cannabis without getting high.” So if someone wants the benefits of cannabis without much of the high, juicing cannabis leaf may be the answer. 2. A Person Can Take Higher Doses

Dr. William Courtney, the founder of Cannabis International Foundation, states that “THC can be taken in doses of hundreds of milligrams when in its acid form (juiced). However, once heated, the tolerable dose drops to 10 mg a day.” (Source) Check out more from Dr. William Courtney below! https://youtu.be/IlsBGXNxJYU

3. Juicing a Cannabis Bud Will Make Someone High

marijuana-269857_1280 If a person wants to get high without smoking, juicing the cannabis bud is the way to go. There are no adverse health effects associated with smoking cannabis, but people with respiratory issues will benefit. Smoking cannabis can lead to minor respiratory issues or chronic bronchitis. Juicing instead of smoking also reduces the smell. Can eating raw cannabis flower buds get you high? In the cannabis plant, the two major cannabinoids exist almost entirely in an acid form. These are known as Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid (THC-A) and Cannabidiolic Acid (CBD-A) or “THC-acid” and “CBD-acid.” When these acidic cannabinoids are heated, they are decarboxylated which means they lose their carbon dioxide molecule and become more active. During that process, the cannabinoids change from the acid form to the activated form. This happens automatically when cannabis flower buds are smoked or vaporized. This also occurs when the cannabis is cooked in coconut oil, olive oil, or ghee even over low heat. THC-acid is believed by those who have never used it to be non-psychoactive. Experience indicates that consuming THC-acid may result in mild feelings of being “high” and episodes of experiencing euphoria. CBD is non-psychoactive regardless of its form (CBD-acid or CBD). It cannot give you the “high” you get from THC. CBD can actually counteract the undesirable effects of THC including paranoia. If you have some time, check out this video!

4. Versatility

Also, with the developing option of juicing industrial hemp leaves containing no THC or psychoactive properties, consuming cannabis juice is possible anywhere. Drink it in the car, at work, or while getting the kids ready for school.

5. Massive Health Benefits
