Your eyes are the windows to your soul. They not only allow you to see, but they allow others to see inside you, to guess at your thoughts and desires. Do droopy eyes convey the right message?
In fact, many people may feel unhappy with their eyes. Wrinkles, heavy eyelids, and dark circles due to lack of sleep, weight gain or
aging can be distracting and annoying to some. Others may just be born with naturally heavy-looking eyes.
I fall into the "naturally heavy looking eyes" category. I could never get a good school photo when I was a teenager. I always ended up looking tired or high. It was annoying for both me and my parents, but I had droopy eyes. That was that!
But there are some things that can be done about common eye problems most people have.
Refreshing Your Droopy Eyes
First off, it is important to get enough sleep. Adults need 7-9 hours of sleep at night. Anything less than 7 hours has been
linked to lack of concentration and emotional instability. Also, chronic sleep loss makes eyes look tired and puffy.
Next, there are some natural face masks one can apply to his or her face to keep the skin and eyes looking fresh. Face masks made out of
baking soda,
turmeric,
coffee, and
aloe vera are all good choices. Everyone is different, so give them all a try to find the right one for you!
Another way to naturally increase lift for your eyes is to perform some simple eye exercises. They will not only strengthen the muscles around your eyes, but strengthen your eyes as well.
I gave these exercises a try, and was very happy with the results. My eyes felt lighter right away! It was also easier for my eyes to focus. I can't wait to do them again!
