These cacao beans are fresh freeze-dried and then immediately vacuum packed to preserve freshness. The vacuum packaging is not pretty, yet the product is! This product is as fresh as is humanly possible: from the cacao pod directly into the freeze-drier and then vacuum sealed to avoid oxidation!
