Everybody is good at something. And if you’ve ever taken a comprehensive personality test, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, you might have read the section that tells you for what career you’d be best suited.
For example, if you’re an INTJ, you might excel as a lawyer, a freelance consultant, or a software engineer. And if you’re an INFP, you’d probably do well as a writer or teacher. And the ENTJ would shine in such positions as a judge or a university professor.
Not everyone ends up in a career best suited to their personalities, of course. Sometimes, however, great careers stem from hobbies. It makes for a good situation if you’re able to do what makes you happy. However, careers aside, you can and should make time to do what makes you happy. After all “what you do” is so much more than just what you do for a paycheck!
