Unfortunately, store-bought truffles are often loaded with dairy and sugar. These chocolate truffles, on the other hand, use just three ingredients:cocoa, dates, and coconut. There’s no refined sugar in there. And the dates provide fiber, so you won’t feel as tempted to eat the whole batch as you would with truffles made of refined ingredients.

Easy Chocolate Truffles
(Yields 20) Time: 5 minIngredients:
TRUFFLE 3 tbs. cacao powder 1 1/2 cups pitted dates 3 tbs. unsweetened shredded coconut TOPPINGS (choose a few) Cacao Nibs Cacao Powder Sesame Seeds Shredded Coconut Crushed Pistachios Crushed Walnuts Acai Powder Goji Powder Maqui Powder Pomegranate PowderInstructions:
- Add cacao powder, dates, and coconut to a blender. (A bullet blender, works well here). Blend until a paste is formed, should only take a few seconds.
- Roll about a tablespoon or so of paste into a ball. Repeat.
- Choose a topping, sprinkle it onto parchment paper, and roll date ball in it to coat.
